Description

FOR THE SAKE OF BABY WITH CLEFT LIPS AND PALATES: Supervised by Dr. Masaru Tatsuno, MD, Showa University Medical School. Including two sizes of nipples. Please use it under the guidance of a pediatrician.

EASY TO SUCK: 100% silicone rubber nipple and BPA-free. Featured with a Y-cut hole, it is firm on one side and soft on the other side, which allows the baby to use the tongue and lips to squeeze the nipple to drink milk easily.

BACKFLOW PREVENTION VALVE: When fitted inside the nipple, this valve prevents milk from flowing back into the bottle while the baby is sucking. When a baby’s tongue presses against the nipple, milk flows out, so even babies with weak sucking strength can draw out milk.

There is a vent valve to form an inverted triangle structure. It allows for the smooth flow of milk by preventing the nipple from collapsing while the baby is sucking.

APPLICABLE SITUATION: Transfer from Regular size to Small size in these situations: For low birth weight babies with cleft lips or palates; When the volume of the oral cavity is small due to the use of the Hotz-type plate; After cleft lip surgery, when transitioning to the use of a normal nipple.

Love this bottle

My son was born with a cleft lip and palate. They had given us mendela bottles but overtime it seemed like our was chocking because was getting faster. And the dr brown bottles would leak. We ordered the smaller nipple size and my son seems to feed very well with this bottle.

Works good soft cleft pallet.

My baby likes this one he has a hole in his soft cleft pallet he can use this one and not drown in the milk.

Great bottle, VERY expensive and horrible packaging

This bottle does its job in helping babies with suctino power or cleft palate get their daily bottles. However, the packaging is really bad. It is very hard to remove the instructions from inside. Also, the little valve to prevent the liguid from falling back falls easily.Overall, it does its job but I find it EXTREMELY expensive given the flaws and the purpose.
