I switched to these once my son was able to take a little bit of a faster flow nipple. We were using Phillips Avent bottles #2 nipple and those are a very slow flow.I like that these are glass. The nipple is very soft and skin like. Very similar to breastfeeding.These bottles actually helped my son with his latch when he was struggling to breastfeed because of the way they forced him to such from the bottle. It creates a nice wide latch.
I went through several bottles before finding the Pigeon brand! Initially I was looking into purchasing the evenflo glass bottle but I found these and decided to try them out. I wish i would have started off with them as they are glass and I don't have to worry about plastics. started with the small wide glass neck 5.4 oz. I loved that they were glass, the nipple was softer than any other bottle I have tried. All the other nipples form avent evenflo dr browns are hard compared to these. I will be trying the silicone glass bottle next.

The ounce lines are about 0.25oz off for US ounce meausrements. I don't think the lines on these bottles are the easiest to read, because there's no half ounce lines.I bought extra nipples separately that I LOVE (2nd generation), and have no leaks using those nipples on my Evenflo Balance + and Phillips Avent Natural glass bottles.The nipples are much a softer silicone than Evenflo, and the Pigeon M flow is even slower than Evenflo's S flow.
I have a 9 week old who is strictly breastfed but I wanted to incorporate a bottle feed, in case of emergencies. She didn’t like the previous bottles and got a really bad colic attack with the NUK bottle. A lactation consultant recommended the Pigeon bottle (never heard of this brand) but I took a chance. My newborn loved it and drank all her milk. The nipple flow is perfect and didn’t give her any extra gas. Highly recommend!!
